SAN SOUCI NSW: Multi-level automation made for entertainers
Nestled deep along the waterfront this newly built home is a true entertainers paradise.
This construction boasts a full range of automated technologies across all levels of the home.
8 zones of music evenly spread across the two levels allow the music to flow to all areas of the home ( interior and exterior) at the optimum listening level. Music flows out to the yard as well as the waterline pool area.
This split-level home with dual front door entries has been secured via swipe access cards and electronic locking. The front gate to the driveway is also secured via a Digital access keypad and a swipe card controller, allowing the homeowners to unlock the gate without the use of a key.

Realtime access to CCTV and the status of the security via intelligent touchscreens, and remote access to the front door and gate allows the homeowners to answer the door and unlock the gate while seated by the pool.
Integration with the C-Bus Lighting Control System allows the owner to switch the lights on remotely and set entertainment scenes at the touch of a button.
MOUNT LOUIS NSW: The new technology home
The brief was to use home technology in a simple, convenient, and enjoyable way for this modern newly built home in the outer suburbs of Sydney.
The design incorporated a range of new technologies and security enhancements, including Integrated Lighting, Whole Home Audio, Enhanced Security with CCTV, and Remote Control of Air Conditioning.
All the technologies are controlled by the owner’s smartphone and tablet applications making control very simple. Leviton’s Snaplink Mobile App allows full access to Lighting, Audio, Security, and Air.

The front door of the home incorporates clever Access Control features from Finger Print Scan technology which automatically unlocks the door and switches the lights on to an Access Control keypad so the pool and garden maintenance crew can access the side gates and property without disturbing the owners.
With complete access to lights, security, and cameras from a smartphone the owners have greater peace of mind. They can check their smartphone anytime while away to ensure their home is secure and they can keep an eye on the kids knowing exactly when they get home from school.
Multi-room Audio throughout the home gives each person control of their own music and volume levels in their room. Music is integrated with the doorbell and built-in paging feature which will automatically mute the music while the door or phone lines are ringing.
The dedicated theatre room keeps the children entertained for hours while the adults can relax with guests by the pool.
Overall the family was delighted to have a simpler “automated home” to conveniently manage their property but most importantly enjoy greater security and peace of mind for their children or while away from home.
BELFIELD NSW: It even made the local paper
This retrofit installation designed for a modern Australian home involved the integration of various systems with the award- winning “Leviton OmniPro II” as the control platform.
Our team of highly skilled installers were able to complete the job with minimal impact on the homeowners, who remained living in the home during the renovation.
The clients gained an enhanced living and entertaining space with more centralised control. Products that integrated seamlessly gave the homeowners the entertainment advantage they were looking for by allowing them to control audio throughout their entire home using their Smartphones and intelligent Touchscreens placed throughout the home.

HAI OmniTouch Pro software operating the 21” Touchscreen in the kitchen even gave the homeowners the ability to browse recipes, watch TV, and manage their home from one central device.
Enhanced security included Cameras strategically placed around the property, remote control of the front door and alarm via the smartphone from anywhere in the world as well as fingerprint access control which automatically unlocks the front door, turns the alarm on/off, and switches the lights on when dark all at the swipe of a finger.
The use of integrated technologies gave the homeowners enhanced control of lighting, air conditioning, window coverings, music, intercom, and even the fireplace with one easy-to-use interface from Touchscreens and Smart devices.
BELFIELD NSW: The home theatre experience
The brief for this design was to create a multi-use Quiet Room which allowed the occupants to enjoy some quiet time without the noisy disturbances associated with living in the suburbs. This space had to double as a Cinema room with quality sound at an affordable price and have minimal impact on the adjacent bedrooms or neighbours when in use.
When we put pen to paper for this design we knew that we could easily deliver quality sound and stunning visuals however this cinema room was on the second floor of the house, with single timber framed external and internal walls and timber floors between levels. A structure this lightweight required some advanced thinking to help keep the sound in the room.

Various sound proofing technologies were selected all working together to control and minimise the impact of sound on neighbouring rooms. It all started in the walls with the use of Hi-density acoustic insulation batts in the walls, followed by Kinetics isoMax sound isolation clips which were used with plasterboard furring channels to create a mechanical isolation between the internal walls and the timber frame.
The internal walls and ceiling are double sheeted with sound-resistant plasterboard and a thin layer of “Quiet Glue” was spread evenly between the two layers of plasterboard greatly increasing the soundproofing properties of this room.
The subfloor was treated with hi-density acoustic batts and a thin layer of flexible visco-elastic membrane, and the floor has a hi-density underlay and carpet to significantly reduce flanking and vibrations.
Even the double doors got a treatment of Visco-elastic membrane with airtight seals ensuring minimal sound would escape while closed.
Puntney NSW: Increasing security and without a steep price tag!
This simple installation has given the family a taste of an automated home without the price tag of the full package.
Perfect for entertaining, it includes 4 zones of audio spread across the master bedroom, patio, lounge, and pool. With local keypad control at the fingertips, the owner can stream music via Bluetooth to the zone of choice.
We implemented Front Door Access Control via a Swipe Card Reader and Intelligent IP Intercom so the owner can unlock the door without the use of a key.
Real-time access to CCTV and the status of the security via an intelligent touchscreen in the kitchen, and remote access to the front door allows the owner to answer guests via speaker and open the door anywhere from the home.
We structured cabling throughout the home with Digital Modulation so that the cameras could appear on any TV in the home.

Gladesville NSW: Lifestyle enhancements to existing home
Lifestyle enhancements come in all sizes. This small 100sqm secondary dwelling home boasts a complete range of home automation technologies putting the owner in full control of their home.
This secondary dwelling is only used while the owners are in town. It includes integrated lighting, whole Home Audio, and enhanced Security with CCTV.
The brief was to utilise energy efficiency, and have remote access control features that allowed other family members to access and use the home when available and without having to keep track of who has the keys.
With complete access to lights, security, and audio from a smartphone the owner can check in when required to ensure their investment is safe and secure at all times. If any lights or music has been left on, the owner can easily remotely access the cameras to see if anyone is home and then turn the items off remotely from anywhere in the world.

With security and peace of mind a priority, the lighting control technology we implemented allows the home to automatically switch lights on and off giving the impression that the occupants are home while they travel.
Also no more do they have to give the cleaner a key to their home! When the cleaner arrives the owner will remotely check the camera, then disarm the security and unlock the door. He can do this from anywhere in the world.
